  • Shaked Lior

    A figurative artist working at the intersection of classical techniques and contemporary approaches. Primarily creating in oil, pencil, and charcoal, Lior seeks to bridge 19th-century traditions with modern styles to produce distinctive, personal work. Based in Tel Aviv, Lior continues to develop and refine her artistic practice. 

    Lior received formal training at the Grand Central Atelier and later at the Barcelona Academy of Art, where she studied observational drawing and painting with a strong focus on academic art values.

    At the core of Lior’s practice is a deep commitment to process, craft, and the attentive care devoted to both. For her, the act of truly observing something is itself a form of care and sublimation, which she strives to express in her work.


  • Austin Lee

    Austin Lee (b. New York, 1995) is a realist painter interested in poetic brushwork and color in search of describing the human experience. He earned his B.F.A in Illustration at Parsons in 2016 and furthered his studies in traditional drawing and painting at the Art Students League with a full scholarship studying under Max Ginsburg and others. Lee later continued his studies at the Barcelona Academy of Art, Academy of Realist Art Boston, where he also won a full Scholarship, and finally completed his studies at Vivarium Novum, studying Multi-figure painting in a month-long residency under Leonid Ilyukhin.

    As an instructor Lee is committed to creating an encouraging and positive learning environment, imparting the knowledge received in his years of study in many different institutions. Lee understands the challenge of learning to draw and paint what you see and strives to make his lessons well paced, flexible, and accessible for all levels.


  • Josefina Torres

    Josefina Torres is a figurative Peruvian artist born in 1996 in Lima, Peru. She studied classical art in Italy and Paris. After graduating cum lauden from Angel Academy in 2018, she moved to New York to continue her studies at Grand Central Atelier with Jacob Collins. Josefina participated in the Hudson River Fellowship.

    Upon her return to Peru she had her first solo show at the Metropolitan museum of Lima.Through art, Torres represents the influence of relationships that have impacted her life, and family values and cultural heritage. These traits are also reflected on her paintings with Peruvian motifs.
